NE Land Sea & Air Museum Visit September 1st

September 1st was a nice warm and sunny day as we left Bowburn on the interesting run to the Land Sea and Air Museum at Washington.

I hadn’t been to the museum before and was very surprised at the variety of exhibits on show. It was well laid out and there was plenty to see.

The catering facilities were limited but everyone seemed to have brought their own picnic so it didn’t pose a problem. After a look round the various hangars and sheds we called it a day and drifted off. Many thanks to Dave and Maureen Sandersfield and Tony Quinn for organising the day.
