The weather on Sunday the 28thApril had brightened for our 17thBobby Shafto Run. After a coffee and very tasty homemade biscuits we left the Beamish Hall Hotel and headed South to the stunning village of Blanchland where a number of people stopped for a comfort break and a cup of coffee at the Monk Tearooms before heading off South. Walworth Castle Show
This was the 2nd show organized by Stuart McNulty at this venue and the weather was a great improvement on last year when it snowed. We had a good turnout, over 30 cars from the Durham MG Club and the MG ZT/ Rover 75 Club. After a wander around the cars and voting for our favorites we had a very tasty carvery lunch and a natter with like minded enthusiasts before the prizes were awarded and presented by Jeannie Crann. The 2019 All MG and Classic Car Show at the Riverside Park
I arrived at the Riverside Park in Chester Le Street nice and early on Sunday the 12th May to meet Bob Luke and his merry band of helpers who were in the middle of a dilemma. The Council had a agreed to a children's fun run around the area that they had agreed to let us use for our car show. We agreed to compromise and queue the cars outside while they completed their run, fortunately it didn’t take long so we weren’t inconvenienced much but we will make sure that it doesn’t
